Consciously Kinky: Manifesting Your Erotic Best Life

Are you a kinky explorer who wants to play...but you're not sure where to begin? Or perhaps you aren't even really sure what shape your desires want to take. It's a brand new year and it is time to flex your manifesting muscles and make some kink magic!

This class will give you some essential tools and techniques for identifying your kinky needs and desires, communicating and negotiating clearly with potential play partners (from setting the scene to mindful aftercare), D/s (dominant/submissive) dynamic check-ins, planning scenes, mindfully reaching your kinky goals, and more.

Getting Rough: Intro to Primal and Rough Body Play

Want to unleash your inner beast? Go primal with your polycule?

Learn the basics of primal and rough body play, including safety, risks, and a myriad of ways to unleash your inner beast.

This class will introduce you to the joys of rough body and primal play, and to do it while mitigating the risk of unintentional injury of your partners or yourself and how to adapt play to a variety of body needs and abilities. From embodying your own unique inner animal, to rituals, to biting and scratching to getting hot and heavy, this class will get your heart thumping and your endorphins pumping.

Who is this class for?

This class is geared towards those new to primal and rough body play. All are welcome!

CNC 101: Introduction to Consensual Non-Consent Play

4:30 PM - 6 PM

When does no not really mean no?

This class will take you through the process of inquiry to determine for yourself if you are ready to engage in the edge that is Consensual Non Consent play. Then we will discuss the ever-important process of negotiation and consent to CNC that makes this form of play a viable source of excitement to enhance your kink scenes, while keeping everyone in the scene physically, mentally, and emotionally safe.

CNC isn’t for everyone, but if you think it might be for you, come learn how to engage in it ethically and mindfully to reduce the likelihood of causing hurt and harm, and increasing the likelihood that you and your partners will want to engage in it again and even make it a part of your regular play.

Meet Maeve!

@MaeveMcBride (she/they) is an educator, erotic and BDSM coach, sexological herbalist, event producer, and community organizer, who has been exploring the intersections of kink, sacred sex, plants, and personal alchemy for more than 20 years.

A fun, sensual, and compassionate switch-witch, Maeve enjoys empowering folx of all persuasions to work towards their unique health, erotic and sexual goals. She teaches classes and consults with clients who are looking to explore and break down their barriers to sexual, sensual, and kinky pleasure. Her process involves combining evidence-based teaching methods, anatomy geekery, goal setting, mind-body-spirit trauma healing techniques, communication tools, the use of plant preparations, a sense of playfulness, experimentation, and exploration, in a non-judgmental environment.

Maeve works with individuals, couples, and groups and presents classes in person, online, and at conferences. Her goal is always to help clients and students to assemble a toolkit of things that work for their own unique needs.

She provides guidance and presents tangible tools and information that can be used over and over to help folx connect more deeply with themselves, with their desires, and with their partners, heal trauma and shame, and empowers individuals to live more embodied and pleasure-filled lives.

She leads discussion groups and classes on relationships of all sizes, orientations, and dynamics. Lady V

@The_Lady_V (she/her) is a spiritually & culturally driven bootblack, Switchinatrix, & a leather cow. She's an out, proud, & fierce-as-fire transwoman. At a young age, she became a believer the first time she saw Arnold Schwarzenegger’s tight ass in leather pants while watching Terminator 2. Since then, Lady V has found a spiritual outlet through leather that's driven her love of bootblacking & leather care to new heights. While hailing from Detroit, Michigan, she has settled in Salem, Oregon, where she serves as the majordomo for her leather family, the Atomic Army.

In her previous 9-5, Lady V assisted in running one of the few behavior services agencies in the world dedicated to supporting folx displaying sexually maladaptive behaviors. During that time working in the field of social sexuality, she was grateful to be able to author sex & gender positive curriculum, as well as curriculum around healthy relationship development.

She hopes to inspire others to enjoy sexuality & dynamics from an authentic place, as well as helping folx their spiritual place with leather & be able to find healing within it as well. Her love of community, education, & sharing ideas with other sex-positive folx is insatiable. Vivus also serves as the lead organizer for the Salem Munch.
