Learn how to use rope bondage to create gender-affirming experiences for the beloved trans femmes in your life. Affirming Ties for Trans Femmes is a workshop that expands into creating an emotionally rich, euphoric experience for your partner(s) while centering their femininity.

Affirming Ties for Trans Femmes, not only covers negotiation, rope selection, and how to tie a few simple but effective patterns. This class dives into Empress Oxblood’s tips, guidance, and inspiration while giving you room to adapt it to your own needs and partners.

Why rope as a tool?

Rope can contour, highlight, draw attention to parts of one's bodies in a flattering, affirming way. With the right ties, even diminishing what could be dysphoric parts on her body when tying.

What should I expect? Am I experienced enough?

All ties can be done solo or partnered with 2 hanks of 30 ft rope by those who know how to tie any kind of single-column. You are not required to practice, but it is highly we encourage those who want to, to do so.

DISCLAIMER: Empress Oxblood is cisgender, however this class was created in collaboration and support of current and former partners who are trans femmes. Her experiences or ties are not monolithic to all trans femme bodies or affirming needs. These tips & tricks can also be used on partners of any genders, if adapted to their needs.

PRESENTERS:

Empress Oxblood (she/her) began in rope as a strict bottom until the day she saw a rigger climb atop their partner. As a tiny top who mostly ties with people larger than herself, Empress uses rope for control, mischief, sensuality, and affection. She has shared her rope with the Sex Positive Portland, WildFern Grove, Hitchin’ Bitches PDX, and Cliff Media Productions communities where she emphasizes how to maximize your fun and build intuitive technique.

Lady V (she/her) is a spiritually & socioculturally driven sex-positive educator, community organizer, lifestyle switch & pro dominatrix. She has a flair for chains, leather, pet roleplay and so many other niche kinky things. She is also the co-creator of the Hucow pride flag, created in 2023.

Using her background in film, Lady V is able to use the power of improv to switch on a dime. Prior, she also served as the Program Manager for one of the few agencies in the world specializing in navigating sexuality & gender for people navigating intellectual/developmental disabilities.

Lady V has taught for conferences & sex positive venues across the US. She serves as an Advocacy Board Member for Sex Positive World & proudly helps facilitate their education as the Remote Education Coordinator. Lady V has also served the community by facilitating public health events.

She is an out, proud, & fierce-as-fire transwoman with a passion for empowering others. She hopes to inspire others to enjoy sex positivity from an authentic place, as well as embrace their spiritual place within sex positivity & find healing within it. While hailing from Detroit, Michigan, she has settled in Los Angeles, California.
