ai + consciousness somatic reflection + movie screening

whether you're excited by AI, deeply concerned, or simply curious, this technology opens up questions around consciousness, creativity, ethics, power, and humanity.

but perhaps more importantly... it invites us into a much deeper question: how do we stay connected to our bodies, hearts, nervous systems, and each other as the world rapidly changes around us?

while much of the conversation around AI lives in the intellect, our intention is to create space for something different. not just what we think, but 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀.

join us for a screening of 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗗𝗼𝗰: 𝗢𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗜 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁, "an eye-opening documentary about the most powerful technology humanity has ever created... and what's at stake if we get it wrong".

the film will likely evoke more questions than answers, and may also be deeply activating.

following the screening, we'll gather for somatic reflection + discussion, exploring how these conversations land in our bodies. together, we'll make space for the emotions, insights, fears, hopes, and deeper knowing that may arise, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 while engaging with something much larger than ourselves. this evening is rooted in the belief that any sort of social impact movement must be built on discernment, self-regulation, and mutual care.

bring your favorite movie snack and a friend, and get cozy with us as we explore what becomes possible when we process together rather than carrying it alone.
