Anchor Partners: How to Play Well with Others

Inspiration & support to create your own process for your partnership

You love your partnership. You want to play with others in ways that honor you and deepen secure attachment with your partner.

Join Z & Ethan as they share their process. Learn how asking for what you desire (even when it's with someone else) can deepen your intimacy. Get inspired & clarify what you want in your process. Every partnership gets to design what works best for you!

You are encouraged to come with your anchor partner! We will have lab time where you and your anchor partner harvest what you want to have in your process. You may also come solo and share what you're seeing with a buddy.

An anchor partner is a stable securely attached partnership. This may or may not include nesting or co-parenting.

What is Secure Attachment?

Secure attachment is feeling peaceful when we’re apart and feeling safe when we’re together. Below are 9 specific ways your body tracks if secure attachment is present.

  1. How long have we known each other in an intimate way?
  2. How known do I feel by this person? Do they see my soul archetypes clearly?
  3. What is the frequency and rhythm of our connection? (Are we often connecting intentionally or circumstantially because we go to the same group events?)
  4. How attuned are we when we’re together? This includes being attuned to: 1. soul archetypes, the gifts & goals each of you are playing for that demonstrate your soul archetypes (for example, I’m in the presence of a poet who’s about to publish a new book, or I’m in the presence of a devoted partner who is looking for a partner to devote themselves to). 2. qualities each bring to your interactions (for example, being generous, grounded, clear, courageous). 3. where you are each focusing your attention when you interact
  5. How much joy, possibility, & aliveness do we feel when we connect? (stimulated nervous system)
  6. How much does my body soften, open, & trust when we see each other? (relaxed nervous system)
  7. How clear are we about our vision for our own life and to what extent do we have a shared vision for a future together? (How much do you want the same thing? Do you see it’s attainable together?)
  8. Do we have a history of giving and receiving attuned support? (Is it mutual? Is it intentional?)
  9. If there has been a rupture, do we have a history of successful repair and new behavior?

This will be recorded.
