The ancient Greeks worshipped Aphrodite under many forms, including two provocative faces of desire.
Aphrodite Pandemos — Aphrodite of All the People
She is desire in the human world: communal, social, embodied. The face of desire shaped by culture, relationships, expectations, beauty, belonging, shame, and the gaze of others.
And then there is...
Aphrodite Ourania — Heavenly Aphrodite
Desire reaching beyond convention. Love and eros experienced as something sovereign, transcendent, and profoundly one's own. Most of us have spent our lives learning what we're supposed to desire.
Tonight, we ask a more dangerous question:
What happens when you stop performing desire and begin listening to it?
Every guest enters Aphrodisia wearing a mask.
Your mask represents Pandemos's face—the version of your sexuality assembled from expectation, shame, religion, gender roles, beauty standards, past lovers, family, culture, rejection, approval, and everything you've been taught you should want.
Be creative. Wear layers. Build a character. Play with the performance.
Come as the desire the world taught you to have, before the night is over, we're going to take it all off.
Aphrodisia begins by transforming our space into a temple.
Through purification and invocation, we call upon the two faces of Aphrodite and enter ritual together.
Still masked, you'll be guided through a slow, embodied meditation into the stories your sexuality has carried—the "shoulds," shame, expectations, projections, and performances that may have become indistinguishable from desire itself.
We aren't here to fight those parts of ourselves. We witness them. We thank them. And when we're ready... we unmask.
Guests will be invited to remove the face they entered wearing and encounter what exists underneath it.
Aphrodite was born from the sea. After the unmasking, guests move through ceremonial cleansing and anointing—washing away what has been released and marking the body that emerges from underneath.
This is our threshold between releasing desire as performance and entering desire as embodiment.
You do not have to become someone new. You are being invited to meet what is already inside of you.
And then... we feast on erotic energy.
The ancient Aphrodisia Festival was not only purification and devotion. It was communal celebration.
Our ritual opens into an Erotic Feast and Open Temple devoted to pleasure, connection, curiosity, and play.
Sensual foods. Bodies. Touch. Flirtation. Voyeurism. Exhibition. Kink. Connection. Pleasure.
Maybe you meet someone whose desire dances beautifully with yours. Maybe you explore a fantasy you've been afraid to name. Maybe you discover something you didn't know you wanted. Maybe your greatest revelation is simply allowing yourself to want without immediately asking whether you should.
There is no required sexual participation.
Watching is participation.
Dancing is participation.
Flirting is participation.
Talking is participation.
Sitting at the altar and feeling everything that just happened is participation.
And if desire carries you somewhere more adventurous...
the temple is open.

Masks are strongly encouraged for ritual participation.
Come dressed as the desire the world taught you to have.
What does that mean? That's yours to interpret.
The perfect lover. The good girl. The gentleman. The slut. The virgin. The husband. The mistress. The masculine ideal. The feminine ideal. The fantasy. The forbidden thing. The person everyone expects you to be.
Elegant masquerade, lingerie, fetishwear, leather, latex, lace, ritual attire, decadent formalwear, genderfuckery, goddess energy, beautiful monstrosity—all are welcome.
Layers you can intentionally remove during the ritual are encouraged.
Your costume doesn't need to explain itself to anyone.
You'll know what it means.
Sex magick without sovereignty isn't sex magick.
Consent is the foundation of Aphrodisia.
No touch is assumed. No sexual participation is required. Being in a sex-positive space is never consent to sexual interaction.
Ask before touching.
Receive an enthusiastic yes.
Honor no immediately.
Respect changing minds.
Our Guardians will be present throughout the evening to help maintain the container and support guests.
The safer we are to tell the truth about what we want—and what we don't—the more freedom we have to explore. More Safe, More Slut.
This is a trauma-informed space where consent and boundaries are sacred. All touch and connection are by invitation only—no one will ever be pressured to participate in any activity. Our events are about stepping into your authentic self expression while honoring your personal boundaries and the boundaries of others.
Please Note: All activities are consent based and optional. Feel free to participate in what feels comfortable and aligned with your personal wishes. We encourage everyone to have an open mind in that this is an experience that welcomes all to explore and try new things within a safer, curated space. We will review community agreements and expectations for behavior to ensure the safest possible space for exploration. We will also review the dynamics of how to engage at our event during our opening circle.
Trigger Warning: We do our best to create a safer space through a trauma-informed lens, however due to the nature of shadow work; difficult feelings may arise during our meditations and workshops. Our trauma-informed guides and staff guardians are here to hold space with care and sensitivity. We ask that you join us in co-creating a brave space—one where we each take responsibility for managing our triggers and regulating our nervous systems. For those who may feel overstimulated, we offer a Low Stimulation Area as a place to ground and center. Additionally, neutral social area is available outside the ceremony should you wish to step away and reconnect at your own pace.
📷 If your glasses have a camera, they must be removed before entering. This includes Meta / Ray-Ban Meta, Oakley Meta, camera glasses, wearable cameras, and concealed recording devices.
Our community deserves the freedom to explore kink, sexuality, nudity, intimacy, and vulnerability without wondering whether someone is filming them. You may be asked to submit your glasses for inspection if staff suspects they are camera glasses.
