Format
This isn't your standard speed dating/friending so listen up! 😁
- We put you in groups of 4 people
- We ask a question like "What's the most embarrassing thing you've done on a first date?"
- You chat and laugh about it for 6 minutes
- We scramble the groups and ask a new question
We love this format because it focuses on authentic connection and friendship and relieves the pressure of traditional speed dating!
All genders, sexualities, gender expressions, relationship styles, etc. are encouraged to attend. We welcome LGBTQ+, trans and non-binary, queer, BIPOC, kinky, and polyamorous folks of all kinds.
What is Non-Monogamy?
Non-monogamy is the practice of having multiple sexual or romantic partners with the consent of all parties involved. Relationship dynamics are different for everybody, & we want to create a space to learn more & get to know other people who are exploring it too.
Timing:
6:30 pm - Arrive, grab a drink, mingle and settle in
7:00-7:15 - Intros and Instructions
7:15-8:30 - Facilitated Speed Friending/Dating
8:30 and on - Open Mingling

About Your Hosts
This event is co-hosted by Fin and Marie!
Fin founded and hosts the Normalizing Non-Monogamy podcast alongside his partner, Emma. He and Emma have also built a global peer support community of like-minded people and have hosted over 50 community-building and authentic relating events similar to this one.
Dr. Marie Thouin is a leading expert on the topic of compersion in consensual non-monogamy and the founder of Love InSight, a Mindful Dating & Relationship Coaching practice where she support people of all backgrounds to create vibrant and intentional love lives—including folks navigating non-monogamy and/or non-traditional relationship structures.
