How do YOU define porn? Will you know it when you see it? This short film curation explores the sexual image through creative storytelling and erotic animations.

Presented in-person at the Little Roxie! Followed by a post-screening filmmaker talk with artists Colette Standish, Alex Mendo, Jiz Lee, and Jaq Quicksilver, moderated by festival director Shine Louise Houston. Doors open at 5:30 PM, 30 minutes before the show.

Garden of Adams

Responding to the way traditional pornography centers the erect penis as an explicit object, the work instead isolates the penis and places it within natural landscapes, softening and recontextualizing its organic shape. By situating it in nature, the film seeks to disarm and subtly feminize the form, inviting a quieter, more contemplative gaze where a central focus is the gradual transformation from softness to hardness without any direct physical stimulation, emphasizing process over performance. The footage was captured across landscapes in San Francisco, California, and Upstate New York in 2025.

Tertiary takes the combination of color pigments as an analogy to the combinations of sexuality and gender expressions. As we mix primary to secondary colors and secondary to tertiary colors we see odd resemblances in the correlations between hetero, homo, queer, male, female, cis, and trans that become a polymorphic symphony when combined.
