Awkward Party: An Evening of Authentic Relating [ENM Edition!]

WHAT IT IS

Somewhere between a game night and the best conversation you've had all year!

We meet for one hour of structured authentic relating games to get past the small talk and really connect with others. They're playful! They also go somewhere! Games will be followed by 30 minutes of open mingling for those who wish to stay.

This night is for non-monogamous people and allies. Come alone, with a partner, or with friends. No previous experience is needed.

Everything is an invitation and you are always at choice to participate in the way that feels right for you.

REGISTRATION AND ARRIVAL

• Address: 1083 East Duane Avenue in Sunnyvale
• Please RSVP so we can prepare the space for you
• Please arrive between 6:30 and 7pm. Doors will close promptly at 7:10 to avoid disrupting the container.
• Street parking can be challenging on weekends; parking is usually available around the intersection of Colusa Ave and San Simeon St.
• There are a few stairs at this location (not wheelchair accessible)

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Polina is an intimacy junkie with an insatiable curiosity about how humans connect. What happens when we let ourselves be seen? She has followed her curiosity, from studying anthropology to training in partner dance and communication practices, and when she discovered Authentic Relating at Interfusion in 2022 she knew she'd found her place.

Polina guides because she finds connection deeply nourishing and wants to create space for the kind of closeness many of us crave but don't always know how to access. She brings a focus on warmth, fun, and choice, and her greatest hope is that you find moments of connection with yourself and others that feel easy, joyful, and fulfilling.
