Ever have one of those nights where nothing goes the way you expect? At Bawdy, we celebrate the messy unpredictability of desire: one-night stands that become group romps, grief that leads to life-changing adventures, flings that veer into same-sex awakenings, and hookups that spin into liberated chaos. Bawdy Storytelling - the express train that *always* goes downtown - invites you to lose control, laugh at your own expectations, and revel in the wild narrative loops that passion can take. Whether it’s a threesome gone sideways, a rebound gone right, or that story you tell yourself in the dark that pushes you over the edge—this night promises the unexpected, in every sense of the word.

JessJess is a true renaissance woman. She doesn't just dabble, she dives in headfirst. Over the years, she has studied everything from Music, Theater, Graphic Design, Marketing, Deaf Education, Hospitality, English to Neuromuscular Therapy, collecting multiple degrees along the way and leaving a few unfinished simply because there were too many fascinating things to learn.

A performer from a young age, JessJess was a professional singer who performed at Disney World for 13 years. At just 16 years old, she had the opportunity to perform alongside Elton John.

Today, she brings all that knowledge, passion, creativity, and curiosity to community building. After years of organizing mainstream events, she expanded into the sex-positive and kink communities, where she has spent nearly a decade creating experiences that foster connection, spark conversation, and help people feel welcome and included.

JessJess is the founder of Beyond the Rainbow Events, producing gatherings such as Kinky Karaoke, Love Your Canvas, Glowtastic, and many more. She also serves as Community Manager for the Bonobo Network, one of the largest sex-positive communities centered around real-world and virtual events where people learn, connect, and grow together. In addition, she is a regular host, house manager, and current President of Mission Control, where she helps lead events including Peek, Threshold, SnuggleSpells, and Pink.

Whether she's behind a microphone, coordinating a volunteer team, producing an event, JessJess is dedicated to creating spaces where people feel valued, respected, and appreciated.

Ryan Vermouth is a social scientist, visual artist, performer, bon vivant, and ne’er-do-well from Oakland. When he isn’t oversharing about his sex life to rooms full of strangers, he’s probably oversharing about his sex life to close friends. Or obsessively learning about all the unhinged things people like to do in bed. Or drawing portraits of random folks on the internet. Or playing with his very tiny dog, Goose.

Christopher Logan is a former minister, community organizer, and lifelong overthinker who has spent most of his life helping other people feel less alone in their complicated feelings. He's queer, spiritually restless, and still figuring out what it means to actually live in his body. Tonight he's sharing a little of what that journey has looked like — the awkward, the tender, and the parts he probably should have kept to himself.

❤ Lyrical philosopher and storyteller of the contemporary human experience, Emily Zisman uses unabashed honesty and humor to punctuate the complexity of the entire escapade. Emily found her way to songwriting as an outlet for her struggles when she was studying to be an actress in New York City. Over time, she realized that songwriting and sharing her personal stories connected her more closely to her community than her attempts to be an actress. The more raw and candid her songs were, the more people seemed to be drawn in. So, she packed up and moved back to California to pursue writing more studiously. Hilarity and devastation continue to ensue, and so in turn does she.
