Bedroom Bondage with Kitt

This is where we take your fundamental skills (ie: single and double column ties) and elevate them to get more bang from your basics. A goal during our time together will be giving examples of how to position your partner for heightened play in the bedroom no matter what gender you identify with. From positions for teasing, to play around shame and exposure to full on display for access… we hope that you leave feeling inspired and full of creative juices to further explore the examples given during class!

Pre-requisites: This is not a beginner-friendly class. We expect those that come to be able to successfully build single and double column ties, are confident with body/nerve anatomy and have experience building harnesses, frictions, and lock offs.

About your instructor: As a rope artist, educator, creative producer, and experiential storyteller, Kitt’s work explores the fluid relationship between movement, aesthetics, sensation, and connection. Having spent her career bringing ambitious creative visions to life across entertainment, technology, and immersive design, she approaches rope as both a fine art medium and an evolving practice of exploration. Originally from Germany and raised in the Midwest, she spent her early years training extensively in ballet and jazz before transitioning into contemporary dance. That lifelong movement background fundamentally shapes how she understands body awareness, spatial presence, and physical communication. The very foundations that directly inform her rope practice today. She’s drawn to the powerful intersection of technical precision and emotional intention, where visual beauty (including the raw beauty of the "grotesque") and human vulnerability become inseparable. What initially drew her to shibari in 2018 was a partner; what kept her there was the infinite depth of the practice. Over the years, she’s had the privilege of studying with celebrated teachers across the U.S. and internationally including Naka Akira, Tamandua, KissMeDeadlyDoll, Erato Bänana, Federico Kirigami & Marta, Ricardo Wildties & Alexandra, Hajime Kinoko, Lief Bound, and Naoko Nawa while drawing ongoing inspiration from a vibrant global community! Much of her exploration is based on her learnings from these excellent resources and also by following her own creative nature and the desires of those she ties.
