Let’s turn up the heat with some tension practice - both on living and non living things!
This is the 3rd class in our beginner series. Riggers will build on their rope skills to incorporate directionality and changing directions with the takedome, or half hitch. Bottoms will begin to build experience processing a range of sensations and practice communicating that to their partner!
Prerequisites: Suitable for beginners. To make the most of this class, we recommend previous knowledge of handling rope, lark’s head and reverse tension.
What to bring/wear: 1-2 hanks of rope for people tying - we will have rope for borrowing or for sale at the studio! We will be tying rope on legs. For bottom’s comfort, avoid wearing baggy pants or jeans that may catch in the rope.
Do I need a partner for this class?: All of the exercises in this class can be done either on a partner or self-tied.
Please arrive on time, as late entry may not be permitted due to the structured nature of the material.
