Ever felt that your rope or friction won’t hold quite the way you intend it to? This 5th class in our beginner series will unlock the mysteries of rope geometry and show you how to build patterns that not only stay in place, but follow the contour of the human body.
By the end of class, you will build a beautiful pattern, as well as learn how to keep the connection going as you tie.
Prerequisites: suitable for beginners. To make the most of this class, recommend previous knowledge of handling rope, lark’s head, half hitches (takedome), and reverse tension.
What to bring/wear: 2-3 hanks of rope for people tying - we will have rope for borrowing or for sale at the studio!
Do I need a partner for this class? All of the exercises in this class can be done either on a partner or self-tied.
