Looking for something meditative in your tying practice? The agura is a crossed-leg tie that you can do with a partner or by yourself to bring a sense of compression or bondage that will melt all of your troubles away.
Prerequisites: suitable for beginners. To make the most of this class, riggers should know how to tie a single column cuff, reverse tension, and how to extend rope.
What to bring/wear: 1-2 hanks of rope, either 8m or 10m based on preference. We will be tying rope on the legs. For bottom’s comfort, avoid wearing baggy pants or jeans that may catch in the rope.
Do I need a partner for this class? All of the exercises in this class can be done either on a partner or self-tied.
Please arrive on time, as late entry may not be permitted due to the structured nature of the material.
