Giving direction. Following a rule. Creating a ritual. Building a relationship around the choice to lead and follow. Dominance and submission (D/s) can bring intimacy, structure, and meaning to everyday life. For some, the appeal is service and devotion; for others, it’s surrender, accountability, or the satisfaction of taking care of someone. What does it take to turn that desire into a relationship that works for everyone involved?
In this class, we’ll explore how to bring dominance and submission beyond scenes and into an ongoing relationship. You’ll learn practical strategies for understanding what you want from a dynamic, negotiating authority and boundaries, and developing rituals and agreements that fit your daily lives. We’ll unpack common misconceptions about both roles and discuss how to navigate real-life responsibilities, communicate when something isn’t working, and adapt your dynamic as needs change. Whether you’re starting a new relationship or exploring D/s with an existing partner, you’ll leave with tools for building a sustainable and mutually satisfying power exchange. No partner, chosen role, or prior D/s experience is required.
Presenter Bio:
VioletPixel is a submissive who's been exploring D/s for over 25 years. She has an enduring fascination with how to make it work, from a night at the dungeon to an ordinary Tuesday morning. She loves a good protocol, a thoughtful conversation, and figuring out how D/s can fit the people living it. That curiosity led her to create OurDynamic, an app that helps dominant and submissive partners connect and communicate.
