What do our fantasies say about our real life desires? That’s a hotly contested topic. Some scenarios are hot on the page—and we want them to stay there. Others… well, they may give us hints about relationship dynamics or bedroom play we’d like to try out.

No matter how dark or outlandish the topic, the underlying turn-ons can be more accessible than they seem. From dirty talk and role play, to sex games, kink, threesomes, & more—there are real life options from mild to wild for exploring these desires.

The trick with most fantasies is knowing where to start. What are the options for safe, consensual, real-life play? How can you bring the idea up to a partner? We’ll pair fantasy exploration exercises with communication and negotiation tools to help you get started. And don’t worry — we’ll work with example fantasies too — so no need to share your reading list unless you want to!

Stella Harris is a certified intimacy educator, sex coach, and author. You may have seen her perform at storytelling events, heard her on a podcast, or read one of her articles or books. She’s been offering sex, kink, and relationship workshops for more than a decade!
