Most rope classes teach the person holding the rope. This one is for the person inside it.
The Bottom Education Series is six months of education and practiced knowledge designed to help feel more confident, capable, and safe.
We will explore the skills related to: body awareness, emotional and nervous-system responses, nerve regulation, pain and pressure, active and relaxed bottoming, how to identify bad rope, how to know when rope feels wrong, how understanding a harness can make communication clearer, and how to understand a harness from the inside out.
There is no single right way to bottom, other than with knowledge and consent. You do not need to be flexible, pain tolerant, highly verbal, or interested in suspension. You do need curiosity about your own experience and a willingness to learn.
You can attend with a partner or come on your own. Every session includes options to receive rope, work at lower intensity, or learn through observation.
Experience takes time. But it does not have to happen by accident.
Note: All rope events are conducted in a structured, instructor-monitored environment. Participation is limited to individuals who have completed the prerequisite training. This is a sober environment. Alcohol and drugs are not permitted.
