"Building Tension" FREE Ropeshare (Sep. '26) **REGISTRATION REQUIRED**

Curious about rope? Been surrounded by rope for decades? Want to explore rope bondage in a chill social setting geared towards creating community? Just a rope nerd in need of a hard-point?

If you answered yes to any of these, welcome to Building Tension! Hosted monthly at Less Dead Studio by HVNY Rope on last Thursdays, it’s intended as a low-key way to mingle and practice the muscle memory that is so vital to consistent tying, whether as rigger or rope bunny.

Tie up your friends, make new ones, skill-share, or just eat snacks and mingle with fellow rope community members! Whether you’re new to rope, an experienced rigger, or somewhere in between, you are welcome to join us.

Doors open at 6:15 and we will begin the event with an Opening Circle shortly after 6:30, no later than 6:45. In an effort to build community, we ask that you please arrive in time for the opening circle. We understand some folks are coming from work or from a distance away so if you will be arriving later, please let us know!

A brief Rope 101 lesson will be offered following the opening circle, for folks who are new or want to brush up on the basics

🍪 Light snacks and NA drinks will be provided. Contributions are welcome and encouraged!
