Explore & experience the essence and dynamics of the close embrace, & transform your dance into a deeply connected, electrifying experience.

Journey with A’lan and Anđela in a 2-hour workshop that promises to be as enlightening as it is entertaining,

as we take a deeply connected dive into enhancing your dance experience through the exploration of the art of close embrace & sensuality. Our focus on embodied centering and grounding will help you be present with a dance partner and create a powerful dance experience that goes beyond just physical touch. Whether you’re new to dancing or have been enjoying ecstatic and/or partner dancing for some time, you’ll experience moments of playfulness and passion that will ignite your spirit and leave you invigorated.

This workshop is designed to deepen your understanding and experience of a magical bridge between dance, spirituality and synergy, and is divided into two enriching parts:

Part 1: The Art of Embrace (60 minutes) - a comprehensive lesson focusing on building a fluid, close embrace frame through presence, polarity and flow;

Part 2: Practice Dance (60 minutes) - an exuberant dance practice to breathe life into your newly acquired skills.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to transform your dance into a deeply connected, electrifying experience.

Price: $35 early-bird / $40 at the door

About your hosts

A'lan: With over 20 years of experience as a dance instructor, A'lan specializes in close-embrace dance and has honed his skills in the realms of Blues, Fusion, Tango, and Micro. A celebrated figure in the national fusion scene, he frequently travels across the US to teach dance and DJ for events. A'lan's classes place a strong emphasis on connection, consent, safety, clear communication, and fostering shared experiences.

Anđela: Having graced the dance floor since the age of 11, Anđela has garnered a wealth of experience and expertise. She had the unique opportunity to study and teach Ballroom and Latin dances in Europe and the Bay Area, solidifying her prowess in dance forms including Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Swing, Bolero, Samba, Foxtrot, Tango, and Waltz. In her current role as a Lead Studio Coordinator and Partner Flow Specialist, she continues to guide dance enthusiasts through the enchanting world of dance.
