Creating Erotic Community: Sustainable Touch, Yum and Tending in These Crazy Times

This class will be held LIVE online via Zoom — Zoom links are sent out 3 days prior and then again 1 hour prior to start time. The class will be recorded and available for a limited time shortly following the class. Registration deadline: 1 hour prior to class Pacific. No day-of cancellations.

These are hard times for many of us and the things that vanish for many people during hard times are touch, pleasure, community, and relaxing into easeful connection. Perhaps you didn’t have access to nurturing touch and community even during less challenging times. Yet, these are the very things that sustain humans. We are touch and pleasure based primates. This is our lineage.

Nourishing touch, connection and even erotic exchange are possible, necessary and potentially at your fingertips!

In this class we will normalize asking for the touch and pleasure you want, creating community to receive it and getting clear about the level of erotic community you desire across the spectrum of touch; from non-sexual, sensual to fully sexual.

We will:

• Begin to identify the people/persons in your life who are interested in touch and creating community.
• Learn how to create a supportive and “safer" container for touch and pleasure.
• Learn some basic templates for consent and risk aware play.
• Discuss a few simple touch and connection scenarios for your potential group.
• Normalize our basic human need for Eros, community, pleasure and connection.
• Establish Eros as a community resource.

Victor Warring, MA is a Somatic (body-centered) Sexuality Educator, Mentor and Coach. He is passionate about supporting people in discovering the truth of their erotic sovereignty and helping to remove any internalized or socially imposed blocks that interfere with the expression of their erotic brilliance. Victor is also a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) educator and works with people in understanding the intersections where the body, sexuality, inclusion, oppression, and decolonization are interwoven.
