Queer Cuddle

🏳️‍🌈This cuddle is for anyone in the queer community - those who self-identify as LGBTQIA2S+ 🏳️‍🌈

Create a warm, fuzzy atmosphere with us! After an opening circle (doors close 15 min after event start so we're all on the same page), we will flow through a few interactive exercises around communication, boundaries & touch. Then during the open time, ask for hugs, platonic cuddling, conversations, games, or simply be present in the space. It's all about comfort, consent, and connection.

What happens in the workshop?

Warm-up mindfulness exercises help us get in touch with the wisdom of our bodies and allow space to slow down. Through guided activities, we practice asking for what we would like, receiving other’s boundaries graciously, and feeling comfortable saying yes or no to requests in a low-stakes setting. Facilitated rounds and demonstrations allow us to practice at our own pace and work in small groups, all while tuning into ourselves and listening to our instincts.

Why should I attend?

Through these activities, you may experience an increased sense of wellbeing, belonging, confidence, and a boost in compassion and playfulness.

What is the vibe?

This is a non-sexual event. Clothes stay on at all times (minimum of shorts and a tank top). All must arrive and remain sober throughout the event. You may find yourself getting a natural high on oxytocin - often called the "hug hormone."

Facilitator

​CJ (she/her) is a dedicated health educator & cuddle enthusiast who leads mind-body workshops to create spaces for connection, consent education, healing, and community care. CJ holds a Master of Public Health degree from the USC Keck School of Medicine and 15 years of experience facilitating health trainings and workshops.@ConnectionWellnessCJ

fwb is a queer-femme founded social club for the bold and curious. Programming includes educational, social, and play events.

The fwb clubhouse is a 1,800 sqf loft designed for connection, pleasure, and play available for events, overnights, and hourly rentals.

We offer 2 volunteer tickets per event. Volunteers must have attended a minimum of 2 fwb events to volunteer.
