💃 Do you want to practice being more free and playful on the dance floor?
✨ Do you want to be around others who are all supporting each other to do the same thing?
Moving away from performing, feeling inhibited, or "trying to look cool" at dance events, at "How to Care Less on the Dance Floor" we’ll focus on:
* Having fun
* Feeling free to express our authentic selves
* Being playful, primal, and silly
* Spreading kindness to others
Through the experience, you'll be encouraged to take yourself less seriously, enjoy yourself, and make some connections along the way 😊
This workshop will include simple improv connection games combined with movement to free us from our daily contrived personas and help us come into embodied, playful aliveness.
We’ll begin with group and partner activities to help us build rapport, followed by an open dance floor set with some facilitated guidance, ending with room to integrate and share.
Facilitation will support us to connect with others, as well as deepen into our solo dance flow. Heart-centered, playful connection is encouraged, and you’re always at choice in how much or little you choose to engage with others in the space.
The field is also intended to be a space of nourishment that meets you where you’re at and helps you alchemize your day. You're not required to be happy or playful, just encouraged to have a basic willingness to open your heart. It’s a low pressure environment intended to create a felt sense of safety and ease to explore at whatever pace feels good.
* Arrive ON-TIME ready to begin at 7pm *
Space opens at 6:45pm.
