Join Mission Control's All Beautiful Creatures and Girlgy™ for a decadent evening celebrating the beauty found in darkness. Inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, demons, succubi, witches, pagans, fallen angels, gothic glamour, and all things deliciously wicked, Dark Desires invites you to explore the parts of yourself that crave a little mystery, mischief, and indulgence.

Whether you embody the seductive pull of Lust, the fierce confidence of Pride, the untamed fury of Wrath, or the enchanting power of an ancient forest witch, this is your chance to dress up, connect, flirt, play, and celebrate the many beautiful creatures we become after dark.

A Collaboration Between Communities

Dark Desires is a special collaboration between Mission Control's All Beautiful Creatures and Girlgy™, bringing together two communities that share a passion for creating intentional, affirming, and memorable experiences for women, trans, and nonbinary community members.

By combining our unique perspectives, we're curating an evening centered on connection, self-expression, and exploration in a space designed specifically for this event. We love seeing communities come together to create something bigger than neither could accomplish alone, and we're excited to share this collaboration with you.

✨ Dress to Tempt

Think gothic elegance, leather, velvet, lace, horns, wings, ritual robes, dark fae, succubi, demons, vampires, celestial beings, pagan deities, witches, monsters, or your own interpretation of one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Costumes are encouraged but not required. Whether you're elegantly sinister or subtly mysterious, come dressed in a way that makes you feel powerful, sexy, and unapologetically you.

Please note: This event is not being held at Mission Control. It will take place at a private venue, and the address will be provided only to ticket holders prior to the event.

About All Beautiful Creatures

All Beautiful Creatures is Mission Control's play party created exclusively for women, trans, and nonbinary community members. Our events are intentionally designed to foster confidence, connection, and exploration in an environment where guests can move beyond classic queer awkwardness and build authentic relationships through conversation, play, and shared experiences.

Each All Beautiful Creatures event features a unique theme that encourages creativity, self-expression, and community.

Girlgy™ is an ABCD social club that creates welcoming spaces for adults to explore gender expression, identity, and community through fun, inclusive social events. From outdoor adventures to cozy movie nights, Girlgy™ celebrates curiosity, authenticity, and the joy of connecting with others.

Whether you come to indulge your favorite sin, channel your inner demon, embrace your witchy side, or simply meet incredible people in an unforgettable setting, we can't wait to welcome you.

Who Can Attend

We welcome and celebrate guests of all sexual orientations, relationship styles, races, ethnicities, body shapes, roles and experience levels within the women, nonbinary and trans community! We love cis men (people who were assigned male at birth and identify with that as their gender), but we request you join us at other parties and stay at home for this one.

To keep this party focused on the community we are providing space for, the hosts may do additional vetting to verify guests are a good match for this event.

A Thoughtfully Curated Guest List

Because Dark Desires is a unique collaboration and takes place in a private venue, this is not a PAL event.

Instead, every prospective guest will complete a brief interview with one of the organizers before purchasing a ticket. This conversation isn't about gatekeeping, it's an opportunity for us to get to know you, answer any questions, and ensure this event is the right fit for everyone attending.

Our goal is to intentionally cultivate a welcoming, respectful, and connected atmosphere where guests can feel comfortable exploring, socializing, and playing together. Taking the time to thoughtfully curate our guest list helps create the kind of experience that makes these events so special.

Mission Control membership is not required to attend. Mission Control Alliance members receive a discounted ticket as a thank you for supporting the Girlgy™ community. Girlgy membership *is* required to attend - apply at the Community Member Application Form.

Volunteering

Mission Control, All Beautiful Creatures, and Girlgy™ parties are completely volunteer run. Volunteers get discounted tickets! We strongly encourage anyone seeking free or discounted tickets to take one of the volunteer shifts. They're generally fun and easy. We have both setup and strike volunteer roles available. If you opt into purchasing a volunteer ticket, please email us to coordinate your shift. grlgyevents@gmail.com

Snacks and BYOB

We will supply a few snacks and nonalcoholic beverages. We highly encourage you to bring a snack to add to the snack table. After so much play we will want some snacks! We do not sell nor serve alcohol. You are welcome to BYOB.

Venue & Accessibility

Some info about our Secret Oakland Location:

• Hot Tub: A hot tub is available for guests to enjoy. Please bring a towel and flip-flops or other waterproof footwear. Showers are available onsite.
• Cat on Premises: A cat lives at the venue. If you have cat allergies, please plan accordingly by bringing any medications or other accommodations you may need.
• Stairs: The venue is not wheelchair accessible. There is one flight of stairs to enter the venue, as well as stairs connecting the downstairs and upstairs play spaces. The outdoor hot tub is also located upstairs and requires using stairs to access.

Safety

COVID: We encourage folks to have a COVID vaccination. You must bring a negative result from a same-day rapid test. For at-home tests, please name and date the test result card, and take a photo of the card to present with your ID at time of entry. A limited number of COVID rapid tests will be available at the door for $20 each. Taking a test on site will require a wait of at least 15 minutes before entering the event. Masks are available at the door and we support people who choose to wear them.

Incident Reporting: We seek to create a space that is very safe and welcoming. Please reach out to a host ASAP if there are any consent violations, or anyone makes you feel uncomfortable.
