A Playful Afternoon of Movement, Pressure Play & Cozy Connection
Squish, Stretch, Smoosh & Snuggles
How much of your life do you spend inside your head?
Thinking. Planning. Scrolling. Working. Remembering one thing while twelve more things arrive.
Your body is still here, patiently waiting for you to come home.
Squish, Stretch, Smoosh & Snuggles is a playful, clothes on afternoon dedicated to helping you leave the busy mind for a while and return to the wisdom, pleasure, and playfulness of your body.
Together, we will explore gentle acro yoga, Pressure Play, Embodied Interactive Connection Practices, consensual touch, and plenty of cozy snuggles.
Discover the joy of gentle partner acrobatics through accessible acro yoga.
Explore strength, balance, trust, stretching, and playful collaboration as you learn creative ways to support and be supported by another body.
No experience, flexibility, or circus skills are needed. Every practice can be adapted for your body, comfort, and ability.
Did you know your body is filled with natural ropes, pulleys, muscles, and connective tissue that can make pressure and resistance feel surprisingly delicious?
Have you ever wanted the comforting weight of someone pressing against you? Felt calmer under a weighted blanket? Loved being squeezed in a strong hug? Found yourself squealing with delight while playfully wrestling with someone you trust?
There are many reasons our bodies enjoy safe, wanted pressure. Come play, explore, get curious, and try some of them with us.
You may discover new ways to feel grounded, confident, connected, and wonderfully alive inside your own skin.
Our Embodied Interactive Connection Practices will invite you to become curious about how you relate to yourself and others.
Instead of only talking about connection, you will get to feel it.
You may explore movement, mirroring, playful communication, giving and receiving, asking for what you want, and noticing what your body is actually saying.
These practices can help you build confidence, communicate more clearly, and connect without having to pretend, impress, or get anything right.
As the afternoon softens, we will move into consensual affection and cozy connection.
You might offer a back rub, receive a head scratch, enjoy gentle nuzzling, share a strong hug, spoon, rest beside someone, or curl up in a cuddle puddle.
You can also choose to enjoy the space without touching anyone.
There is no single right way to participate.
Safe, wanted touch, playful movement, and supportive connection may help your body move out of stress and toward its calmer rest and digest response.
When the body feels supported, we may experience more ease, presence, connection, emotional softness, and room to breathe.
