Dungeons & Daddy Issues

Welcome to the second iteration of this slutty LARP - an interactive storytelling experience where participants create characters, step into a themed world, and collectively shape an unfolding narrative. Part improv game, part social adventure, part collaborative storytelling, and part live-action roleplay, every event is a completely unique adventure driven by the people in the room. Even if you've attended before, no two stories are ever the same.

The Plot

For thousands of years, The Patriarchy™ has quietly ruled the world.

Unfortunately... Public opinion seems to have taken a turn. The hashtags are concerning. People keep saying things like "Down with the Patriarchy."

Sky Daddy—the CEO of The Patriarchy™—has become convinced that if public faith in The Patriarchy™ collapses completely... the very fabric of reality is at stake! Naturally, the only reasonable solution is a social media campaign.

You've been summoned to Heaven's Executive Boardroom alongside an eclectic collection of Sugar Daddies, Leather Daddies, Baby Daddies, people with Daddy Issues, and every other variety of Daddy imaginable. Together, you'll launch the official account for The Patriarchy™, create content, recruit influencers, survive PR disasters, battle internet trolls, navigate scandals, and desperately try to game the algorithm and gain followers.

Every creative challenge becomes another "post" on your growing company profile, while dice rolls determine how the internet reacts. The future of the Patriarchy depends on YOU!

Details

Throughout the evening, you'll move between collaborative storytelling around the table, live-action roleplay, creative challenges, and social interaction. Sometimes the whole group will solve a problem together. Other times you'll split into pairs or small teams to pursue quests, complete challenges, uncover secrets, or simply see where the story takes you. Everything is opt-in and based on consent and mutual desire. There will be short social breaks in between the three acts.

• 🤝 In-Character Mingling — Build relationships and continue scenes between acts.
• 🌙 Open Play — Continue storylines or simply enjoy the world you've created.

Who's Your Daddy?

For the purposes of this event, "Daddy" is a gender-neutral title. Anyone can be a Daddy.

Perhaps you're a wealthy Sugar Daddy looking for someone to spoil. Maybe you're a Leather Daddy with impeccable fashion sense. Perhaps you're just an ordinary human with legendary dad jokes. Feel free to come with a character in mind. Or perhaps you're simply trying to figure out... Who's Your Daddy? Expect ridiculous quests, heartfelt revelations, awkward family dynamics, Freudian discomfort, unexpected romance, kinky situations, and Daddy-Drama!

• 8:15–8:30 PM — Character Introductions & Icebreakers
• 8:30–9:15 PM — Act I: Collaborative Storytelling & Team Challenges
• 9:15–10:00 PM — Act II: Roleplay, Mini-Games & Creative Challenges
• 10:00–10:15 PM — Social Break / In-Character Mingling
• 10:15–11:00 PM — Act III: The Grand Finale
• 11:00 PM–Close — Open Play, Continuing Scenes & Socializing (can be in or out of character)

Content Advisory

This experience is rooted in satire and collaborative storytelling. It playfully explores themes including the patriarchy, organized religion, capitalism, influencer culture, social media, family relationships, power, identity, trauma, and bureaucracy. Come ready to laugh, improvise, embrace the absurd, and extend grace to one another. The goal isn't to be offensive— it's levity! Collaboratively explore & discuss systems, institutions, and our strange modern world - and don't be afraid to get silly about it!
