Creating a relationship in which you give up or take power is serious (and exciting!) business. What facts could have made you better able to take that step? What mistakes could you have avoided?

If personal experience is the best educator, the personal experience of others can be a great runner-up. D/s is something that is often talked and written about, but what we hear from experts and teachers and fiction sits on such a wide spectrum it’s hard to determine what exactly applies to your life. Acknowledging that no single source will write *your* story, it’s useful to connect with others whose own authentic experiences are, by definition, real and valuable.

Join us on May 2 to share your own experience and learnings about D/s and to hear the wisdom of others who’ve walked the same path.

The Leather Munch is for anyone who identifies as Leather, aspires to be Leather or is curious about Leather. We host an evening each month to enjoy community and share knowledge about all things Leather.

-       You may practice Leather as a style, a kink or a subculture. Or Leather may be an identity, a way of life or a spiritual practice for you.

-       Leather may mean patches and pins, flagging, bootblacks, leather gear, cigars, D/s, families and houses. It usually means honorifics, community and history. It always means living by and sharing a set of values with your leather family or community.

-       Leather people do the work, honor their fellows and live their values.

No matter how you define Leather, we welcome you!

We meet 7-9 pm on the first Thursday of each month at Harry’s Hofbrau in San Leandro.
