Many engage in physical "self harm" as a psychosomatic outlet of release when they feel distressed or depressed with no outlet or validation.

This class aims to instead redirect real physical self harm into using our tools of BDSM for temporary playful pain.

Join former "cutter" turned self sadomasochist, Lady V, in redirecting that negative energy into something cathartic, fun, & potentially healing.

What is ethical self harm vs self harm?

Ethical self harm is a tool for self regulation without causing further emotional or physical distress. This includes not leaving permanent marks that could leave reminders of a time of distress.

We'll give some ideas & structure around:

• Using toys & tools safely on yourself
• Laying down your own code of ethics & self boundaries
• Turning self harm into self love & play.
• Use of orgasms to flip moods & rewards

PRESENTER:

(she/her) is a spiritually & socioculturally driven sex-positive educator, community organizer, lifestyle switch & pro dominatrix based out of Los Angeles, CA & Portland, OR.

Lady V has taught for conferences & sex positive venues across the US & internationally. She serves as an Advocacy Board Member for Sex Positive World & proudly helps facilitate their education as the Remote Education Coordinator. Lady V has also served the community by facilitating public health events, play parties, educational intensives, & so much more.

Prior to jumping into pursuing sex education as a full time passion, Lady V served as a Behavioral Services Program Manager for one of the few agencies in the world specializing in navigating sexuality & gender for people navigating intellectual/developmental disabilities. Her work around modular, individualistic care & advocacy has sense shifted to the larger world of sex positivity and kink.
