The show ended. The after party ended. The after-after party ended. This is what's left, and it goes until two in the morning.

✨ About the Event

The Foubidden Zone is the last stop on a very long night - the after-after-after party following Fou Fou Ha's Foutenany at the Brava Theater the previous day, and the outdoor day-after that follows that. Named for the 1980 Richard Elfman cult film, because by hour six of anything the plot stops mattering and you're just in the zone.

We open our 8,500 square feet in the Jack London warehouse district: a full club sound system, custom lighting, and a dance floor that does not get tired.

Between 25 and 30 members of the Fou Fou Ha company are joining us as guests. They're off the clock and out of costume — no show, no set, no performance. They're just some of the most interesting people in Bay Area performance scene in the room, and happy to talk to you. Fou Fou Ha! squad members are coming from from San Francisco, Austin, Portland, and New York!

• Music from 9 PM to 2 AM - DJs curated by Fou Fou Ha!
• The Fou Fou Ha company in attendance as guests, out of costume and up for conversation
• A full club sound system and custom lighting in an 8,500 sq ft historic warehouse
• A room built for dancing, and quieter corners for when you're done

This is a choose-your-own-depth evening! Dance, mingle, or simply be.

🎭 Attire

Foubidden Zone Formal: cabaret surrealism, vintage sci-fi, sequins, feathers, anything with a sense of humor about itself.

Also welcome: all black, or whatever you actually dance in. Effort is celebrated, never required.

Please wear shoes you can move in!

Beer, wine, and cocktails may be sold, with a zero-proof menu that gets the same care. Light food provided. Water is free and always available; please use it!
