Workshop to celebrate International Dance Day will be a “Medley of Moves” for fusion from all styles of dance, and a practice with many highlighted! Join and learn an array of spices to kick up your fusion dancing.

FOCUS will be listening and dancing to international world beats, with music clearly from distinct historical and cultural dances from many countries of origin including salsa, bachata, blues, lindy, tango, zouk, kiz, waltz to analyze and consider how the music is similar and/or different from each other.
EVOLVE the world music from their core styles into "fusion-y" mixes as we move to more electroswing, west coast swing, nuevo tango, and modern blues music.

"I will be teaching basic musicality for dancers: how to listen to the music, how to communicate rhythm to your partner in order to create a fun shared experience, how to find the rhythm within the rhythm of a song, and how to do more with less."
