What is there really to learn about grief and non-monogamy?
Grief, at its most basic, is the mind and body's response to change, especially change we didn't choose or can't fully control. Non-monogamy, if you sit with it honestly, is defined by exactly that: ongoing change.New people, evolving agreements and structures, relationships that deepen or end, identities that keep shifting shape.
Most of what's written about non-monogamy focuses on making it work... communication tools, jealousy frameworks, ways to structure agreements. Less gets said about grief, even though it shows up early and often. The first loss many people meet when opening a relationship is monogamy itself, and the cultural script that came with it, one partner, a familiar timeline, a shape for the future everyone around you already recognized. Other losses follow from there, many harder to see clearly.
This workshop is built to help you locate and name whatever loss you're already carrying, whether you're new to non-monogamy or years into it.
You'll walk away with:
This is a space to be honest about what non-monogamy costs, the losses you don't know where else to bring, in community that understands.
Come curious, and come to honor a grief you haven't had words or witness for yet.
