Flogging Fundamentals & Beyond

Whether you've never picked up a flogger or you're looking to add new techniques to your repertoire, this class covers the full arc — from your first throw to flowing Florentine patterns.

We'll start with the basics: flogger anatomy and how different materials, tail counts, and weights change the sensation; stance, grip, and body mechanics; aiming and target zones (and the ones to avoid); and reading your partner throughout a scene. From there, we'll build into varying techniques — thuddy versus stingy strokes, warm-up progressions, figure-eights, and rhythm work — before moving into Florentine flogging, the two-handed style that uses a flogger in each hand in alternating or mirrored patterns for a hypnotic, full-body experience.

Along the way we'll cover negotiation, consent, aftercare, and safety considerations (anatomy to protect, signs of strain, hand and shoulder care for the top).
