IMPACT 101 | Flogging Fundamentals

Learn it. Practice it. Build confidence with it.

IMPACT 101 is a two-hour, hands-on class for men who want to learn, practice, and become more confident with BDSM impact play.

Each IMPACT 101 focuses on one specific skill or implement. We break down the fundamentals, demonstrate technique and safety, and then put the implement in your hands so you can practice with guidance and feedback.

This session: Flogging Fundamentals.

THE EXPERIENCE

You don’t learn impact by only watching someone else hold the implement.

For Flogging Fundamentals, we'll work through grip, stance, body mechanics, targeting, distance, throws, rhythm, control, communication, and safety before moving into hands-on practice.

The goal isn't to make you an expert in two hours. It's to give you a solid foundation—and enough understanding and confidence to continue developing your skills.

WHO IT'S FOR

You don't have to be a Top or Dominant to learn how to give impact.

IMPACT 101 welcomes men who are completely new, experienced players who want to sharpen their technique, and anyone curious about getting a flogger into their hands.

Tops, bottoms, switches, Dominants, submissives, and men who use none of those labels are welcome.

Learning a skill doesn't determine your role. It simply gives you another skill.

HOW THE CLASS FLOWS

1:00 PM — Welcome + Fundamentals

Meet the group, get familiar with the flogger, and establish basic safety principles.

1:30 PM — Demonstration

We'll break down grip, stance, body mechanics, targeting, distance, throws, and control.

2:00 PM — Hands-On Practice

Get the flogger in your hands and practice with guidance and feedback, bringing together technique, rhythm, control, communication, and intention.

3:00 PM — Class Ends

COME READY TO LEARN

Bring a flogger if you own one. Learning with the equipment you actually plan to use is encouraged, and we'll also have implements available for practice.

Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.

Come prepared to ask questions, practice, make mistakes, receive feedback, and try again.
