Intermediate: Chapter 2: Caught in a Web

Welcome to our Intermediate Series, to take your rope skills from beginner to proficient!

In class #2, participants will learn to tie the hishi backweb where you will be challenged in all things related to munter hitches (nodome). We will cover both technique and soft skills at intermediate level, including important safety considerations and communicating with your partner on rope placement and injury risk.

Pre-requisites: all participants must have completed our beginner series or have equivalent tying experience; please check our Beginner curriculum page for more information.

Riggers must be able to tie a single column, half hitch, munter hitch and know how to extend rope - if you need a refresher on these skills, please consider attending one of our beginner classes first.

What to wear/bring: 3-4 hanks of rope and comfortable clothing
