Welcome to our Intermediate Series, to take your rope skills from beginner to proficient!
In class #4, participants will learn to tie or be tied in an intermediate-level upper body harness. Expect your current rope skills to be challenged as you learn new tension, friction, and rope handling techniques. Rope bottoms will also get the chance to explore novel sensations and learn about expanded risk profiles for these ties.
**JUNE CLASS: BUTTERFLY HARNESS**
While the specific pattern will change with each class, we will always cover technique and soft skills at intermediate level, including important safety considerations and communicating with your partner on rope placement and injury risk.
Pre-requisites: all participants must have completed our beginner series or have equivalent tying experience; please check our Beginner curriculum page for more information. Riggers must be able to tie a single column, half hitch, munter hitch and know how to extend rope - if you need a refresher on these skills, please consider attending one of our beginner classes first.
What to wear/bring: 3-4 hanks of rope and comfortable clothing
