Kink Has No Expiration Date: Growing Older, Playing Smarter & Staying Deliciously Deviant

Kink doesn’t come with an expiration date, but our bodies, abilities, identities, and desires can change throughout our lives. Join author and educator Janet W. Hardy for a playful, honest, and practical conversation about aging in kink and Leather, including ageism, changing abilities, chronic illness, evolving desires, and the shame that can sometimes come with needing to adapt. We’ll explore creative ways to modify play, service, positions, toys, and techniques so that kink can continue to work with the body you have today. This class is also for younger kinksters who want to better understand aging partners, build more inclusive play practices, or think about what a lifelong relationship with kink might look like. Whether you’re adjusting how you play now or simply curious about the future, you’ll leave with ideas for staying connected, confident, curious, and engaged.

Instructor BIO:

Janet Hardy is the author or coauthor of more than a dozen groundbreaking books about relationships and sexuality, including The Ethical Slut, which has sold more than 500,000 copies to date and has been published in more than a dozen languages. The ethical slut workbook also came out late last year!

She spent the first three decades of her life believing that she was the only person in the world who got turned on by thinking about spanking. She wrote her first book, The Sexually Dominant Woman, to help create a world in which nobody else would ever be that clueless.

Janet has traveled the world as a speaker and teacher on topics ranging from ethical multi partner relationships to erotic spanking and beyond. She has appeared in documentary films, television shows, and more podcasts and radio shows than she can count. She has narrated audio versions of many of her books, and looks forward to doing more.

Janet spent a quarter century as editor-in-chief of Greenery Press, the firm she founded in 1992, which went on to publish dozens of books about alternative sexuality and relationships. While she has retired from being a publisher, she goes on writing, drawing, editing and educating about sexuality.

Janet lives the life of a kinky poly queer genderbent geezer in Oregon, with her spouse. If you’re curious to know more about Janet you can preorder her next autobiographical work here!
