Yoga for Shibari: Opening the Upper Body (Chest & Shoulders)
Prep for: for Takate Kote (chest harnesses), Gute (arm cuffs), and overhead ties.
This Hatha-based mobility class is designed specifically for rope bottoms who want to bend further, hold ties longer, and feel amazing doing it.
Long, restrictive upper-body ties require immense mobility to maintain comfort and prevent "rope palsy." This session targets the chest, armpits, and rotator cuffs to open up the heart space and relieve the tension of forward-rounded posture. You will learn specific median nerve-flossing techniques designed to keep circulation flowing into the hands and fingers. Leave this class with the structural openness needed to breathe deeply and remain calm under the pressure of tight torso lines.
