Yoga for Shibari: Supple Spine (Extension & Twists)
Best For: Preparing for complex floor transitions, box ties, semi-suspensions, and backbends.
• Description: A flexible, strong spine allows a bottom to move fluidly with their rigger and safely absorb the unique weight distribution of a tie. This session explores safe back-bending to build endurance in your posterior muscles, alongside deep twists to expand your rotational mobility. We wrap the movements together with ulnar nerve flossing to protect the pathways from your neck down to your fingertips, ensuring your core axis remains highly responsive and free of strain.
This Hatha-based mobility class is designed specifically for rope bottoms who want to bend further, hold ties longer, and feel amazing doing it.
