Learn The Ropes is our beginner-friendly Shibari workshop for couples and curious individuals. In this 3‑hour class you’ll learn core floor‑based ties and concepts: simple knots, rope handling and care, safety, and clear communication. You’ll leave with a solid foundation and three go‑to ties you can recreate at home.
When you book Learn The Ropes, you get more than just a 3-hour in-person workshop.

Tuition & Partners
• Tuition is per person.
• Please purchase a spot for each person attending and include your partner’s name and email at checkout so they can sign the waiver electronically.
• You can attend as a couple or solo. If you’re attending solo and would like to be paired with a partner, please review the “Tying Partner Pairing” section in the Learn The Ropes FAQ on our website.
To keep the class on schedule, each tuition covers one person tying (one rigger) per seat.
Rope & Gear
You’ll need the following (available for purchase at the studio or on our website):
• (1) 30–40 ft rope
• (1) 10–15 ft rope
• (1) pair of safety shears 6mm hemp or jute rope is recommended
What to wear & bring
• Wear comfortable, close‑fitting clothing suitable for a classroom setting (yoga pants, leggings, shorts, fitted tops). Jeans are not recommended.
• We provide mats. You’re welcome to bring a yoga mat or soft blanket for extra comfort, as you’ll be working on the floor for portions of class.
