Liquid Love: Workshop

Liquid Love is a Collective Journey of the Senses.

Liquid Love is an unfolding devotion to Self, communal care, and trust. It is a collective somatic journey where we gradually deepen into more nuanced and advanced practices, allowing connection, vulnerability, and embodied awareness to unfold organically as the container develops. Through this shared exploration, somatic awareness and deep listening become our primary tools for navigating the terrain, honoring our individual boundaries while opening to the possibilities of collective experience.

The concept is simple: we pour warm coconut oil onto your skin, allowing it to spread across your body and create smooth, flowing contact with your surroundings and with others.

As the collective field opens, touch becomes an organic, fluid exploration, ranging from gentle, grounding stillness to playful movement and deeper sensory discovery. Each interaction is an invitation to listen, respond, and follow the unfolding impulses of the body, allowing connection to emerge naturally without expectation or obligation.

Everyone is invited to honor their own rhythm, boundaries, and limits to touch.

Arrival & Opening Circle

Doors open at 2:45 PM for registration and intentional arrival time before the opening circle. We highly encourage arriving close to 2:45 PM to give yourself space to transition from the busyness of daily life, connect with your body, and settle into the group experience.

The container closes promptly at 3:00 PM when the opening circle begins. Once the doors close, late arrivals will not be admitted.

Context: A Braver Space

Liquid Love is a braver space rather than a safer space, one where we lean into vulnerability, authentic expression, and meeting our edges while holding ourselves and others with compassion and care.

As an advanced somatic practice, Liquid Love is intended for those experienced in consensual touch-based spaces, such as cuddle parties, partner dance, or contact improvisation.

Participants are invited to take responsibility for their own experience while remaining accountable for their impact on others. This includes listening to your nervous system, communicating your needs, honoring boundaries, and approaching moments of misunderstanding with curiosity and care.

Your no is as welcome as your yes. Stillness is as welcome as movement. Choosing not to engage is as valid as participating.

We recognize that growth can emerge in the space between a full "Yes" and a full "No," inviting deeper self-inquiry without pressure to push beyond your boundaries. Uncertainty is an invitation to pause and seek clarity, never permission to assume consent.

Liquid Love is a sensual, non-sexual workshop. Honoring this distinction is essential. If you anticipate difficulty respecting this boundary, we ask that you not attend.

Immersive somatic experiences can activate fawn, freeze, or other nervous system responses. If these make it difficult to recognize or communicate your boundaries, we invite you to consider your readiness with deep care.
