TIME: Gather at 9:45am / Start walking at 10:00am

PARKING: Park at 609 Paseo Del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274 (link above) and walk up hill to trailhead.

BATHROOMS: Malaga Cove Plaza Shopping Center on Palos Verdes Drive West, 3-minute drive from trailhead parking

Trail Effort: Moderate (suitable for children and surfers carrying their boards). No pets allowed

Trail time: approx. 2:00 hrs

Trail length: 3.5 miles

DIRECTIONS

Going south on Palos Verdes Drive West:

1. turn RIGHT on Via Corta at end of Malaga Cove Shopping Center
2. CURVES LEFT to become Via Almar
3. RIGHT on Via Arroyo (end of school grounds)
4. LEFT on Paseo del Mar
5. PARK before or beyond 609 Paseo del Mar - wherever you see spaces on your right.

• 9:45 Meet at Trail Head on Paseo Del Mar overlooking the ocean
• 10:00 Begin walk.
• 12:15 Approximately end of hike

Optional Lunch

• 12:15 Drive to park at or around The Malaga Cove Shopping Center.
• 12:30 Lunch at The Yellow Vase Restaurant, 51 Malaga Cove Plaza, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274 (where the bathrooms are). Parking is free: limited in the lot at Malaga Cove Plaza otherwise try Via Corta, Via Campesina, etc
