Once upon a time, Bawdy Storytelling got a little naughtier...

What happens when an evening of hilarious, heartfelt, outrageous true stories about sex, dating, kink, relationships, and everything in between doesn't end when the last storyteller leaves the stage?

You get Naughty Bawdy… part Bawdy Storytelling, part play party, and one very memorable night where happily ever after is only the beginning.

For one enchanted evening, we're opening the storybook to a collection of fairy tales you definitely weren't told as a child… because these tales are true.

Gather 'round, dear adventurers...

We’ll start the evening with Bawdy Storytelling, where real people take the stage to tell their true-life tales of desire, connection, adventure, questionable decisions, unexpected plot twists, and the wonderfully weird things that happen when humans get intimate.

🎩 THE HAT OF DESTINY

Think you've lived a fairy tale worthy of the stage? Now you might get to tell it. In addition to our featured storytellers, we'll invite a few brave adventurers from the audience to share a 5-minute true-life naughty fairy tale of their own.

Add your name to the Hat of Destiny. Fate will choose a few names, and those lucky storytellers will have 5 minutes on the Bawdy stage to enchant the kingdom with a true story.

Forget the fairy tales you grew up with. These stories actually happened.

Dixie De La Tour

Her Vajesty Dixie De La Tour is the Founder, Curator & Host of the Award-winning storytelling series, Bawdy Storytelling (called “The Moth for Pervs” by the LA Weekly, and “The Original Sex and Storytelling series” by Playgirl) that’s been lauded for its transformational, relatable, and empowering performances. & Bawdy is celebrating its 20 Years Anniversary, right now! Dixie is a Story, Communication and Performance Coach, a Podcaster, Impresario, an IRL Enthusiast, but most of all, a Community Builder. She spends her days prepping first time performers and skilled storytellers for the stage, teaches Storytelling for Job Seekers, and she’s been Sainted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (“Saint Kiss & Make You Tell”) for her work to reduce stigma and eliminate shame. Kyle Anderson

Kyle grew up in the same rural part of Pennsylvania where their family has lived since before the US was even a thing. They played five sports in high school, did marching band in college, and then spent 16 years in the Navy flying airplanes.

Kyle can ballroom dance, function admirably as arm candy, surf, rock climb, and do acrobatics—and, somehow, the Navy taught them absolutely none of that.

They’ve got no ankles on account of playing ice hockey as a kid, played the trumpet so they’re very good with their mouth but only three of their fingers, and are currently looking for their next dream job.

Autumn Vandiver

They are a Certified Cuddle Party Facilitator, professional cuddler, writer, and former early childhood and parent educator. They spend much of their life exploring nourishing touch, consent, relationships, grief, and holding space for connection in an intimate, fully clothed, and platonic way.

Aaannd… Autumn is also a three-time champion of San Francisco’s Dirty Talk Game Show. After a lengthy hiatus from saying filthy things onstage, they’re coming out of retirement. Tonight, they’re letting their delightfully perverted side have the microphone again.

Sejay Chu

Sejay has been a professional pervert for 20 years, training folks 'round the country on sex ed for both work and play. Known hats include: kink conference educator and organizer, sexy safer sex consultant, as well as trans-queer speaker and genderfuck drag king performer, both inside and out of the dungeon door... all sprinkled with a generous fistful of groan-worthy puns. Sejay is excited to share their sexplorations with you!

Torilena

Torilena (she/they) is a San Francisco-based musician, performer, storyteller, and queer community activist originally from London. Torilena has been a vibrant part of the Bay Area’s queer and trans arts community for more than two decades.

Torilena was a founding member of Lipstick Conspiracy, the groundbreaking all-trans-women rock band formed in San Francisco in 2003, where she performed vocals and keyboards. The band became a fixture of the Bay Area queer music scene, performing at venues and events including San Francisco Pride and helping create visibility for trans musicians at a time when representation onstage was far less common.

Beyond music, Torilena has continued to bring together performance, storytelling, activism, and community building. Her work celebrates queer and trans experiences with humor, honesty, creativity, and a distinctly rebellious spirit.

SNACKS AND BYOB

We do not sell or serve alcohol, but you are welcome to BYOB. We'll have fairy-tale-themed mocktails available throughout the night that you are welcome to spice up.

BYOB bottles must be labeled and stored at the bar. When you'd like a drink, retrieve your bottle, pour your own alcohol, and return it for safekeeping. Please drink responsibly and remain present and able to give enthusiastic consent throughout the evening.

We'll also provide some snacks and encourage you to bring something to add to the Kingdom's snack table. Adventuring works up an appetite!

Seating for the Bawdy Storytelling show is limited and not guaranteed with General Admission tickets. The show will be broadcast on closed-circuit TVs throughout the venue, so you won’t miss the stories wherever you’re hanging out.

VENUE & ACCESSIBILITY:

The Bawdy Storytelling show will take place in the main building, which also offers plenty of space to mingle, socialize, and enjoy our BYOB bar throughout the evening.

Not feeling the play-party side of the night? No problem! There are plenty of spaces where you can hang out, connect, chat, and enjoy the atmosphere without participating in play. If you're feeling a little more adventurous, you can venture beyond the main social areas and explore the venue's dedicated play spaces. Our play spaces will be open all night, so you’re welcome to explore whenever the mood strikes!

Please note that the venue is not fully wheelchair accessible. The first floor, including the main storytelling and social areas, is accessible, and as of June 2026, wheelchair-accessible bathroom facilities are available. Some additional areas of the venue, including some play spaces, require navigating stairs. If you have specific accessibility needs or questions about accessing any part of the event, please contact us in advance. We'll do our best to help you plan your evening and make accommodations wherever possible.

SAFETY:

COVID:

We are currently experiencing a COVID surge, and Naughty Bawdy is an intimate event where people may be in close physical contact with one another. That creates an increased opportunity for COVID to spread, so we require all attendees to take a same-day rapid test before attending.

For at-home tests, please write your name and date on the test, take a photo, and be prepared to show it at the door. A limited number of rapid tests will be available onsite for $15, but we strongly encourage you to test before leaving home.

Regardless of your test result, please do not attend if you are experiencing fever, sore throat, respiratory symptoms, or other flu-like symptoms. Thank you for helping us take care of one another and our community.

INCIDENT REPORTING:

We seek to create a space that is very safe and welcoming. Please reach out to a host ASAP if there are any consent violations, or anyone makes you feel uncomfortable. You can also fill out the incident report form

(*) By purchasing or obtaining a ticket, you are agreeing to Beyond the Rainbow Events Consent & Code of Conduct Guidelines and the venue’s guidelines. You are also agreeing to Beyond the Rainbow Release of Liability, Expressed Assumption of Risk, Hold Harmless, Indemnification, and Medical Consent Waiver.

REFUND POLICY

No Refunds available for this event. However you can transfer your tickets!

How to Transfe Your Ticket?

You can quickly and easily transfer your ticket to someone else:

• Arrange payment directly with them however you want: Venmo, PayPal, cash, free, etc. That part is entirely between the two of you.
• Find your ticket email and click the link to view your ticket.
• ⁠Edit the ticket and change the name and email address to the new ticket holder’s information.
• Save your changes. That’s it! The ticket is now theirs.
