Non-monogamy Discussion Group Vancouver - June Discussion

Welcome to the Non-Monogamy Discussion Group Vancouver! We will be meeting the THIRD Monday of the month at Cross and Crows Books . Bring your ideas, questions and opinions!

June Topic: Life With Metamours

A reliationship that is unique to non-monogamous reliationship is one with metamours. Your partners partner. Some metamour relationships grow into close friendships or chosen family. Others stay distant, complicated, awkward, or somewhere in between. There is no one right way to relate to a metamour, and different relationships can have very different needs and expectations.

This month, we're exploring the many ways metamours show up in our lives, the challenges that can arise, and the possibilities.

Some questions we may explore:

-What role do metamours play in your life

-How much contact do you want with your metamours?

-What helps build trust, respect, or friendship between metamours?

-How do we navigate conflict, discomfort, or mismatched expectations?

- How can you be a good hinge to your partners?

This is a peer-to-peer discussion about metamour relationships in their many forms, from deeply connected to intentionally distant & all the places in between.
