She holds an educational background and certifications including music and sound healing, longevity diet coaching and is currently engaged in deep personal work focused on trauma and empathy. Laura discovered Nonviolent Communication (NVC) during the pandemic while navigating an abusive domestic relationship, where both her emotional and physical safety were at risk. Her lived experience continues to inform her compassionate and grounded approach.
Nonviolent Communication (NVC) is a practice developed by Marshall Rosenberg that helps people communicate with empathy, clarity, and connection. It’s not just about how we speak to others, but how we relate to our own needs and feelings. NVC offers a structured yet flexible approach to shifting out of blame, judgment, or reactivity and into a space of understanding, connection, honesty, and care. www.cnvc.org
Whether in personal or professional relationships, NVC can support clearer boundaries, reduce conflict, and foster connection. In her workshop, Laura will guide participants through techniques to raise self-awareness, engage in reflection, practicing empathy, especially in situations where our social conditioning might push us toward disconnection or defensiveness.
