North Bay Babble On: Sacred and Profane: Embodying Ritual, Divinity, and Transformation in Kink

This month, we explore the intersections of ritual, spirituality, and kink. From ceremonial dynamics to the meditative depths of rope and power exchange, BDSM can open pathways to altered states, catharsis, devotion, and profound connection.

What transforms an act into a ritual? Where do kink and spiritual traditions intersect, and what happens when the body becomes a site of worship, surrender, or transformation? We’ll explore the sacred and the profane, drawing on traditions ranging from tantra to paganism while considering the tensions between reverence, transgression, and the divine.

Whether you experience kink as devotion, transformation, embodied prayer, or something entirely your own, bring your experiences, perspectives, and questions. Together, we’ll explore what happens when the dungeon meets the divine.

Come on out, bring your questions, and talk about the stuff. Get some great new ideas, and let's build community together!

The first Tuesday of every month. It's ok to come at any time during the meeting. I mean, like come into the room...
