Carpooling is encouraged, but neighborhood parking is available. Please be respectful of neighbors, and do not park at the end of the street where the field is, that is actually a driveway.
Socks and kneepads are suggested for our tile and wood floors, especially for the workshop portion 7- 8pm. There is also a dog here named Rosie.
Melt, Puddle, Fly
Guided by Ryan Foronda & Victori May
7:00pm - 8:00pm
Ryan opens the class by guiding participants into the somatic sensation of melting from standing embrace all the way down to the floor. Freed from the eyes, touch becomes the primary language, deepening trust, weight, and surrender. Together they’ll explore slow unraveling and patient pacing, learning to soften into contact and let the body find the ground on its own terms.
THEN
Victori guides techniques and turns for floorwork and flying. Ever wondered how far you can expand your limits of connection and trust when dancing with another? This is a space to try on new skills and strengths, one that honors and encourages nos and limits.

Ecstatic Dance Live Musical Journey
Featuring Jesus Gonzalez
8:00pm-9:30 pm
Jesus Gonzalez is a visionary local San Diego musician who draws inspiration from nature, poetry and the overall experience of being alive. Jesus creates original and improvised songs that invite you to be present with your heart and the magic of the moment we’re all living in.
In a recent interview with NPR’s top shelf artists series, Jesus said “At the core of it all I think my music is simply shouting ‘Can you believe we’re all here?!’”. Using a looper, Jesus creates layers of soulful vocal harmonies, different instrumentation, and percussion to create vast lush sounds that are sure to help you fall in deeper into your sense of self.

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines
1. Move however you wish
2. No talking on the dance floor
3. Respect yourself and one another
4. No Shoes, No Booze
5. Please also refrain from photos, videos, strong scents/perfumes, glitter and shoes on the dance floor.
6. Touch is Sacred ~ Many people dance in their own space, and others share their space with another. To engage in a dance with someone, use sensitivity: Are they open to sharing their space with me? Mirror movements, offer a hand, brush by, make eye contact, and see & feel how they respond.
