Off Menu with Miss Bloom: The Psychology of Fetish

An intimate dinner exploring the psychology of fetish, fantasy, taboo, and desire with author and educator Miss Bloom.

What shapes the things we desire? Why are some attractions nearly universal while others are deeply personal? And what can our fantasies tell us about ourselves?

On October 15, Night Owls welcomes Niki Davis-Fainbloom (Miss Bloom) for the first edition of Off Menu, an intimate dinner and conversation series built around fascinating subjects, thoughtful people, and the kinds of conversations that rarely happen around the dinner table.

For this edition, we’re exploring The Psychology of Fetish.

From the familiar to the unconventional, Miss Bloom will lead us through the psychology behind how particular desires and attractions develop, the influence of fantasy and taboo, and what changes when we approach our interests with curiosity rather than judgment.

With just 18 guests around the table, this isn't a traditional lecture. The evening is designed for genuine conversation: listening, questioning, challenging ideas, sharing perspectives, and seeing where the discussion takes us.
