ONLINE: So Fresh & So Clean: Bootblacking & Leather Care 101 w/ Lady V

Who doesn't love the look of a well-polished boot that catches the light and catches your eye?

Leather pieces have the ability to outlast many of their original owners...with care. In this class, we'll teach you the basics of making your leathers look nice and last, as well as cleaning and caring for your leathers.

Bootblacking can be a service to the community or dynamic, a form of worship, an art form, a practice of technique, a side hustle, a spiritual practice, or all of the above!

Learn how to easily clean and care for your favorite boots, whip, or vest! We'll also show you how to discern between oil tan and polished leather and how to treat them appropriately.

After the class portion, there will be a brief workshop where you will work on your leather with guidance from the instructor. It is BYOL (Bring Your Own Leather). Synthetic leathers are welcome!

PRESENTER:

Lady V (she/her) is a spiritually & socioculturally driven sex-positive educator, community organizer, Bootblack & Professional Dominatrix. She formerly served as a resident bootblack for the Portland Eagle, as well as 50 Shades of STFU & Jiffy Kink play parties. Lady V has also Bootblacked at various conferences, flea markets, cigar parties, & play parties across the US.

Lady V became a believer in leather the first time she saw The Arnold’s ass in leather pants watching Terminator 2. Since then she has become an enthusiastic leather fetishist & has touched enough leather to make a dairy farmer blush. Lady V, who is also a hucow, is quite literally "leather".

Lady V has taught for conferences & sex positive venues across the US. She serves as an Advocacy Board Member for Sex Positive World & proudly helps facilitate their education as the Remote Education Coordinator. Lady V has also served the community by facilitating public health events.

She is an out, proud, & fierce-as-fire transwoman with a passion for empowering others. While hailing from Detroit, Michigan, she has settled in Salem, Oregon, where she lives with her Mistress in a 24/7 TPE dynamic. She serves as the majordomo for her leather family, the Atomic Army.
