~ 8PM Rope Jam ~

This Pink starts early! Doors at 8pm for a special pre-Pink playshop: a 2-hour beginner rope jam presented by East Bay Peer Rope and special guest Shay Tiziano! 

Shay Tiziano (she/her or they/them) is a renowned bondage performer, presenter, producer, and self-suspender known for their innovative, intense performances and friendly, attainable, and risk-awareness-focused approach to kink education. She is the author of Tying & Flying, the first-ever book about self-suspension, and Creating Captivating Classes, the first-ever book specifically for kink, sexuality, and relationship educators.

During the first hour we'll teach a basic tie or two -- bring a partner, or partner up with another attendee for the class. The second hour is open rope time, to practice what you have learned. Bring 1-2 thirty foot lengths of rope if you have it; we will have limited loaner rope available. Please plan to be on time, class doors close for the introductory circle at 8:15pm. 

Our maximum capacity for this jam is 30 persons. Each rope jam attendee must reserve their space in the jam using a Google form, as described below. After the party opens to Pink general attendees, observers are welcome to watch from outside the gazebo, and even from the garden, through the windows. The gazebo will open to all by 10:30pm.

To attend you MUST arrive & leave with a responsible partner, your “PAL” for the night. You don’t have to be a couple but you are both responsible for each other during the party -

Covid Safety Policy

We ask everyone who attends to be vaccinated for covid, including a recent booster shot, if possible. Before entry to an event, each attendee must show at the door proof of a negative result from a lab-based PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours or a rapid test within the previous 24 hours.

(For at-home tests, please name and date the test result card and take a photo of the card to present at time of entry.)

Important Notice: 

Please do not attend with any indication of having

a fever, sore throat, or flu-like symptoms

A limited number of Covid Rapid tests will be available.
