Find us: The address is an estimate - to get us to the part of the lake we'll be on; it's where Madison meets the lake on the city side of the lake, near "The Terrace Room."

How this swap/picnic works:

Pop by for 20 mins or bring a blanket/snack + soak in the sun + community the whole time.

• Just chill in the sun with queers folks... or
• Place your items on the swap quilt(s), browse other people’s cute stuff, try things on over your clothes, compliment kind queer strangers, and take home a few new treasuressss.
• (There's no scheduled trading circle or group intros.)
• Leave whenever. :)

What to bring

Up to 10 qualityyyy items (gems!) you’d be hyped to see another queer human wear to the trans or dyke march, a gay date, or a fancy queer nonprofit gala.

• Instead of basics or your thrift store bag, bring: wild, badass, costumey, drag, butch, unique, hot, artsy, activisty, sparkly, animal print(!), rainbow, glorious, studly, high femme, genderbendy clothes + big accessories.
• Size M and UP UP UP.
• Clothing for all the genders imagineable. 🌈🏳️‍⚧️🦩

Hints

YES:

• Kids/babies/teens: very welcome to attend with you. :)
• Queer-curious + lbgtqai+ newbies + “late in life lbgtqs” very welcome. ☀️
• Come even if you don't have anything to swap (we need people "taking" as much as we need people "giving").
• Allies are welcome - as long as you regularly spend time in queer community and feel at home in trans-affirming spaces. :) 🩷 🧡 💛 💚 💙 🩵 💜 🤎 🖤 🩶 🤍

NO:

• No: barking dogs pls 😇.
• No: basics, shoes (unless incredibly likely to get taken), or junk like broken tangled jewelry or random household objects.
• No body-bashing/age-shaming (aka: “i’m too old/big for this,” “muffin top,” etc). if something doesn’t fit, let's blame the clothing, not our glorious queer/trans bodiesssss of all sizes + shapes + heights + ages 💋
