Radical Mending guides C Con Yeh and Even Howard will supply relational and material repairs and reinforcements to uncover and amplify your self expression.

We’ll gather at Hearth on Haight for:

• 🧥 Repurposing festive/playa wear within community
• 🪁 Inspiration to draw out your inner expressions
• 🎨 Fabric paints especially for sun hats and other wearables
• 💎 Beads and charms station
• 🥤 Light refreshment available, yours welcome
• 🧵 And of course mending by hand and machine!

Consults available all day for mends. BYO clothing, sunglasses, or accessories for yourself or others, or find something on Haight!

Here’s a sketch of our schedule:

• 1:00pm: Mending and Embellishment stations open
• 1:15pm: Material Mending Instruction ~ Handsewing for expression and repair
• 1:45pm: Material Mending Instruction ~ MOOP-free sparkle and embellishment to leave no trace
• 2pm: Relational Mending Workshop ~ How might we pre-care for all the feels on adventure?
• 3pm: Material Mending Consults ~ Alterations for custom fits
• 4pm: Relational Mending Workshop ~ How might we interrupt burnout & drama cycles?

Donations & Reservations: $24–48 sliding scale, aside from clothing, hats are available for purchase & reservations appreciated (DM). Donations provide access to mending materials and zones for activities. Kids in the company of caregivers are welcome.
