We’re bringing it back to where it all began! Get ready for a BIPOC-centered celebration of Jamaican dancehall and unapologetic sensuality! From the infectious riddims and waistline-shaking anthems of old-school dancehall to the explosive energy of today’s bashment scene, RAGGAFEST is bringing the heat and the culture that makes the dance floor come alive. Expect bare vibes, wicked tunes, sultry whines, and the kind of energy that makes it impossible to stay still!

We are going unapologetically all out with this one! The fits will be on point, the bodies will be a-grinding and Black sensuality shall be celebrated in all its glory! Whether you grew up on Shabba Ranks, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, and Lady Saw or you’re riding with Spice, Vybz Kartel, Shenseea, and Skeng, mark my words; there WILL be a place for you on this dance floor. Come ready to wine, bruk out, turn up, and reconnect with the music, the culture, and the community.

🌺 The Dutty Gyaden: Where the riddims soften and the energy turns deliciously intimate. The Dutty Garden is a space for sensual touch, sensation play, slow exploration, and those close-up connections that make the temperature rise. Take your time, tune into each other, and let the rhythm move you.

🔥 Da Bashment Yaad: This is where the pressure builds and the energy goes up! The Bashment Yard is home to high-energy impact play, intense scenes, and unapologetic expressions of kink. Expect big energy, bold moves, and a whole lot of heat. When the riddim drops, things get serious!

🍹 Da Rum Shop: Every proper dancehall gathering needs a spot to lime! Pull up to The Rum Shop to grab a snack, hydrate, catch up with your people, and meet some new faces. Take a breather, exchange a little banter, and recharge before heading back into the action.

🌙 Di Cool Down Cyanah Even the wildest bashment needs a moment to cool off. The Cool Down Corner is your peaceful retreat when you need to decompress, cuddle, process a scene, or simply catch your breath away from the noise. No pressure, no performance—just space to settle yourself before rejoining the vibes.

WHO CAN ATTEND

Obsidian Playground is an intentional, BIPOC-centered space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color of all genders and orientations. If you do not identify as BIPOC, you may attend only if you are accompanying a BIPOC partner. We reserve the right to remove anyone who disrupts the comfort or safety of the space. You must be 21+ to attend.

WHAT TO WEAR

We encourage attendees to dress on theme. Examples include Jamaican-Inspired Prints – clothes featuring the colors of the Jamaican flag, (black, green, and gold) dancehall-themed prints, or any article of clothing that exemplifies Jamaican pride!

Fetish wear is always welcome! Pair your favorite harnesses, latex, leather, or other kink attire with alternative fashion staples like combat boots, mesh, fishnets, oversized jackets, chains, spikes, or dramatic makeup to create a look that's uniquely your own.
